Tessa Farmer: In Fairyland
Curated by Catriona McAra
With Su Blackwell, Sverre Malling, Annelies Strba and The Cottingley Fairies.

30 January - 26 February 2015
Leeds College of Art

This artwork in this exhibition was magnificent how much detail went into Tessa Farmer sculptures was truly breath taking. I couldn't believe she actually made these sculptures from skulls, bees, plant roots, insect wings, crockery and numerous of other items as there was so much detail in her artwork and it was so fragile and delicate, her sculptures truly looked beautiful.

Work by Annelies Strba

Her mini fairy soldiers was one of my favorite things in the exhibition as they had so much character to them even though they was so small and fragile. It must of took a lot of time to make her creations and you appreciate the time and effort she puts in her artwork as there fantastic.

Fairies Hunting a Bullfinch, 2014

Su Blackwell, The house in the oak tree, 2014.

In the exhibition I was really interested in the sculpture by Su Blackwell as it was created by a book what must of took a lot of skill to make it look so detailed. All the work in this exhibition was very detailed and fragile what was quite nice as it related to the fairy theme quite well.
